Idaho

Well, we moved out here to Orofino, Idaho about three and a half weeks ago. The drive was long, and we had very sore rear ends by the time it was over. Our cell phone doesn’t get service out here, we didn’t have phone service for the first week, and we just now got internet. So it’s been a little frustrating. But God, as always, came through and everything is now going great. For those of you who don’t know (I guess that’s most of you, hmm), I moved to Idaho because my dad is the pastor of two churches out here now. One is a log cabin church up at the top of something pretty close to a mountain, which is VERY cool, and the other one is here in town. The town, by the way is Orofino. I’m still homeschooling, but I’ve also started taking a couple classes at the high school here in town, which has been great so far. We’ve only been in school this past week, and the best part is that we never have school on Fridays!!! I take that back; the best part is that our school mascot is the maniacs. I have art with a friend I’ve made next door, and she and another new friend recently came over to spend the night and watch AVATAR with my brother and I. The county fair is coming up and our art class is entering work in it, and I’m considering entering some of my jewelry. Wish me luck… Orofino is pretty cool, and the people at the churches are awesome. We’re going over to someone’s house for dinner tonight, in fact! There’s an awesome Chinese restaurant in town, an adorable cake shop with out-of-this-world huckleberry scones, a shoe shop (score!!), a tiny (I mean REALLY small) movie theatre, and a bunch of other fun shops.
¡Adios, mi amigos!
