RAD '09 Memories
Wow! RAD ’09 has been one of the coolest years of Tweens! I’ve learned so much about the 9-Sided Pome Poem (for those of you who were not there, the fruits of the sprit). The worship was amazing this year (thanks Aaron and Matt!). We had lots of fun making crazy motions and “getting down!” Small groups were amazing! I was on Mrs. Jenny’s team (who, by the way, is amazing!) and our team name was the “Fruit Loops” and we came in 2nd place in the Multi-Mega-Giga-Game, way to go girls!!!
I think we all can say that the afternoon stuff was loads of fun this year, not to mention the RAD Olympics. I don’t think I’ve seen anything quite as funny as 30 tweens try to climb up a wet, baby shampooed, baby oiled tarp on a slight incline with a baby oiled ball in their hands-sounds easy enough right? Wrong. 4-Square is well...4-Square! You’ve gotta love it. (Well I guess you don’t have to, but love it a side of the pome, right?) Congrats to Lewis for winning the Tournament this year!
Thanks to all the leaders that make the RAD Project possible every year! What a blessing you are. Also, thanks to all the people on the RADTeam and all tweens who made this year so much fun and for doing all those randomly awesome things that we did!
