Well, we moved out here to Orofino, Idaho about three and a half weeks ago. The drive was long, and we had very sore rear ends by the time it was over. Our cell phone doesn’t get service out here, we didn’t have phone service for the first week, and we just now got internet. So it’s been a little frustrating. But God, as always, came through and everything is now going great. For those of you who don’t know (I guess that’s most of you, hmm), I moved to Idaho because my dad is the pastor of two churches...

This morning, we had so much fun. We had people taking pictures, we went into our groups and we brainstormed names. It was fun, because we used our creative minds. We decided to do the kingdom of life, which is from "The Light" (the christian remake title for twilight). it is using John 8:12. I loved something else and Shashi. We had amazing fun, and i am glad i got to share. Jesus Christ is the most amazing thing in my life and i am glad to grow closer to him this weekend.~Lauren F <3 (:

Our RAD Team, capably led by Lewis, registered about 60 campers this morning, giving each their drawstring sports pack, a New Testament, a pen, and their notebook. We sang and worshipped, worked on the memory verse (Psalm 145:1-2), learned about our mission project, and heard from Something Else, Zorba the Geek, Count Sigma, Ricky-T, and -- finally -- from King Reginald Van Stocking III himself (introduced as always by Sushine, the herald of the king). Then we broke into our Discovery Groups to further study the nature of the True King as described in Psalm 145. We had a great...

RAD ’09 was awesome!! I had so much fun being with all the tweens and helping the adults. This year I got to ride in a golf cart with Mrs. Cindy during the Multi-Mega-Giga-Game. I never realized how much work Mrs. Cindy does and how much all the adults have to prepare for tweens and especially for the game (you guys rock!!). The RAD Team this year was cool too! I enjoyed hanging out and talking with all of you. I also loved the music Aaron and Matt played. I loved jumping up and down and dancing to the music. ...

The worship was amazing this year (thanks Aaron and Matt!). We had lots of fun making crazy motions and “getting down!” Small groups were amazing! I was on Mrs. Jenny’s team (who, by the way, is amazing!) and our team name was the “Fruit Loops” and we came in 2nd place in the Multi-Mega-Giga-Game, way to go girls!!! Months ago David T. posted a question for Doc's Question Box. He asked why God created the world and why he created us. I've been pondering that question ever since and haven't been able to give a good answer to it yet. The best answer, I think, is that God wanted to extend His love. But what would you say? Why did God create the universe? And why did he create us?

Mrs Cindy is trying to build the best possible team of adult workers. Kimberlee Tate is at work in preparing the RAD Team (Annsley Tate and Larry Branam are RAD co-captains this summer). We've purchased 104 binders and 100 New Living Translation New Testaments (that's right, you all will get one of your own and it's yours to keep). Bianca and Annsley are One Year Bible partners this year and are both basically on track with their Bible reading. Isn't that pretty awesome? Bianca and Annsley's favorite section of the daily reading is the New Testament. Bianca loved the book of John and Annsley enjoyed the book of Esther. Annsley has realized that there is a lot about the Bible that she never knew. Bianca said, "I've learned a lot, but one thing I've learned is the ten commandments and that we need to follow them." She also said that the hardest thing about the OYB is "remembering to...

The memories: laughter, four-square, MMGG, jewelry making, small groups, Ale-8, running in the rain, Something Else. But there were things that were even more priceless: The commitments you made with Jesus, reading through the Bible in a year, the time we spend together in Worship, being drawn closer to the Lord, learning about the Alpha and Omega, the first 3 chapters and the last 3 chapters, growing closer to our Amazing God. RAD 2008 was wonderful....
